Begin your Full Day Palccoyo Rainbow Mountain Tour with an early morning pick-up from your hotel in Cusco. Your day starts around 5:00 am as you board a comfortable vehicle to take you on the journey to Checacupe.
While on the road, enjoy the picturesque landscape and anticipate the adventure ahead. The drive to Checacupe will take approximately 3.5 hours. Upon arrival, you’ll find yourself at an altitude of 3,250 meters above sea level.
After a short break in Checacupe, you’ll continue the drive to the Palccoyo community, which will take another hour. Upon reaching Palccoyo at 4,700 meters above sea level, you’ll start the trek to Rainbow Mountain.
The hike typically lasts 45 minutes, depending on your pace. Your experienced guide will accompany you every step of the way.
